Zippy and laugh-out-loud hilarious, Lost in Manhattan is a terrific read. In Moreen Littrell’s New York, Jimmy Choos wouldn’t last a day.
Lost in Manhattan is a winner. A great read. Reminds me of way back in 1954 when I was assigned to the Stars and Stripes bureau in New York City. Wow, that was rough. Littrell does a great job; very literate and smooth.
I don’t often laugh out loud at comedic scenes set in my hometown, but Eve whacks my funny bone silly. Littrell has created a heroine whose infallible humor and improvisation in the face of Job-like trials and tribulations make this book a must-read.
A priceless read about moving to the Big Apple homeless, jobless, and nearly hopeless.
Charming and funny… Eve’s adventurous spirit is endearing.
